    :

We booked a platinum caravan, which was beautiful. Very spacious, well laid out.

Staff were the friendliest that we’ve met compared to all the sites we’ve visited.

Loads to do for my 4 year old. Very clean and warm pool. Great places to visit.

    We’ll be back again!!

we just got back today from family break for four days, we booked online and it only cost us £150 for a long weekend with myself, my partner and 2 toddlers

.when we got there we got upgraded to a 2011 caravan due to an error with our accommadation allotment, it was very clean and al the beds were ready made and really comfy, we had no problems with the caravan site it was very clean and the staff were very polite.

my 3 year old loved the entertainment, the locations are lovely and there`s lots too do on site , the swimming pool was clean, the on site bar The Mash and Barrel was ok but the prices are very steep and the food quality was not very good. the meal we had on arrival was over cooked and tasted burnt and the carvery we had on the sunday was not very good either, the roast potatoes were not cooked too my liking and the gravey was just like water (that was the only thing that we didnt like the rest of the meal was passable) also the onsite shop is not recommended as the morrisons just down the road offers far better value for money and choice.

the pizza place (papa johns) on site is spot on food was freshly made and delivered too your caravan or table at night in the show bar and they also do special offers which are well priced compared to the mash and barrel, . the man who served us and delivered the pizza is very polite..also would like too say thank you too the lady on reception (rachel i think) she was very helpful.

i would recommend this Haven too anyone with children and who wants a nice break way. it was that good that we actually booked another holiday in couple weeks in which we will be staying in safari tent, we cant wait.

Stayed June 2011, travelled with family

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Burnham (August ’09).

I have to say that I was a little apprehensive after the amount of negative reviews I had read but I really don’t know why there were any!

We have a campervan and a large tent, we arrived onsite at the reception where the very helpful staff had our welcome package ready and a map and timetable of all of the entertainment. We arrived to find an ample sized pitch which was very well maintained.

The toilets and shower block were situated in the middle of the touring area and wasn’t far away from us. We have a 10 and 7 year old and they were spoilt for choice as to what to do first!

The play area is just enough to keep them happy, however there was a lack of swings.

The outdoor pool is fantastic for all ages, its not too big or deep so the children can play safely, the staff/lifeguards are quite strict and seem to blow their whistles frequently but I suppose its all to do with safety plus you weren’t allowed to take photos of the children in the pool. The indoor pool is the same not too big or deep.

The entertainment staff are fab, they had a whole range of activities during the day and kept the children entertained fantasticly during the evening.

I would thoroughly recommend this park to anyone, we had a fab time (and were very lucky with the weather).

Burnham town is really lovely to look round and has a fantastic fish and chip shop by the sea (the beach can be muddy in places). Weston super mare is just up the road, this has a better beach to sit and play on, its very traditional with donkeys and an old steam fair but there are ample shops to look round.

All in all we had a great holiday and would definitely go again.

My family and I visited this park in May 2008 on a sun holiday (mon-fri). We had a 3 bed caravan whish was clean and spacious for us as we are only a family of 4 anyway.

The only thing i didnt like was that there was no microwave as standard and the freezer compartment was quite small but not a big problem means we only stayed in the park for 4 nights.

The staff were friendly and great with the children … the entertainment was ok and the were quite flexible in having kids roaming round with their parents and on stage etc….

The park had many things to do, i would of preferred a bit more for the toddlers mind.

I would recommend this park to anyone as there are plenty of things to do outside the park and close to a supermarket and beach etc ….
