Stayed in an upgrade .. 3 bedrooms, central heating in every room, very clean and tidy when we entered caravan . . Decent TV with Freeview built in . It seems it was an Owned Caravan we were in . Valley View is nice, roomy and very close to all the amenities.

Ate at Papa Johns on the Saturday night, very nice and cooked fresh, you can even watch them preparing the pizzas .. Amusements as to be expected with rip off claw grab machines (4 times it picked up a Teddy and 4 times dropped it back). Went to Saxon Bar , ,prices very expensive for drinks in my opinion but you ARE a captive audience . Karaoke was fun and we enjoyed an evening there . Be aware of a long hill down too and back up though . My kids enjoyed the adventure playground as well

Kids enjoyed swimming and swam every day during our Friday to Monday stay here . . .Only gripe I would have is the attitude of some staff members, particularly a girl in the swimming pool who in my opinion was somewhat sarcastic to me on an occasion, no need lady as I can detect sarcasm a mile off !!!

I was somewhat disappointed that the interesting activities such as Archery, Target Shooting, Inflatable balls were all added costs, considering we only used the passes to access the arcade area , Saxons and the children used them for swimming I found that (additional cost) a bit much ,, And avoid the SPAR like the plague, VERY expensive indeed

All in all a good few days were had by all .. Would I return ? Possibly not to Coombe Haven but only as I have now done that .

The van was clean and in a very attractive spot with lovely views. On the down side it was on a steepish slope. Great for those who are fit;not so good if you were disabled or carrying bags or small children.

The site was clean and spacious and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Our only quibbles were the equipment in the van and the entertainment. There was a TV which was so old that I have seen better on the tip and only got 4 stations and those not clearly. The kitchen equipment also left a lot to be desired (eg grill pan no handle, did not fit and pans had loose handles). The entertainment was aimed at young children and too many noisy arcade games.

Our grandchildren loved it especially the swimming pool and overall a good family holiday.

The Club House needs 2 b bigger because u had 2 b there at 530 2 get a seat but thats because it was very busy there.

Went there at May half term and had a ball.

Kids are 4,5,8, and 13 and all really enjoyed it.

All did kids club and we went swimming every day. Me and 13 year old even did aerobics 3 times!

Non-smoking bar was great for the non-smokers and the kids loved the entertainment.

Food in restaurant was good (breakfast is best value) and on-site shop quite good too, although we went to tesco in nearby Bexhill for supplies.

Children’s park was great for the 3 younger ones, and the soft palay area at the Saxon Bar was great for the 2 younger ones.

last year we did a different operator for 1/2 term and would not use them again, but found Haven to be clean, family orientated and a lot of fun.

Lots to do in Sussex too for days out.
