Sited our caravan on the touring park for our daughter, partner and two young grandchildren. They had a great week here. We found the touring park well organised and laid out. We had a euro pitch with all services and this was excellent. Wardens Paula and Mike manage the park very well and even helped us to site our van on a busy Saturday morning in the high season. When we found that we had forgotten our grandson’s highchair, Paula managed to obtain one for us from the main site. Excellent facilities and beautiful scenery at Haven y Mor

The children had a fabulous time and can’t wait to return. They absolutely loved the pool. Loads to do and warm water.
Staff were brilliant, happy and engaged with children and adults alike. really made the holiday special and made our family feel special. One member of staff was a bit too happy!! Obviously still in the effects of the previous night.
Plenty to keep children occupied. loads of play areas. Didn’t need to wonder off the site at all during our stay.
Sunday lunch fanstatic and thumbs up to the chef.
downside, drinks too expensive and activities too expensive. the chalet wasn’t to my liking, too outdated and no direct outside access which detracts from that holiday feel. Felt like i was in a block of flats in a cheap city. beach not the best, but did the job. Lack of fresh vegetables and fruit in the spar shop.
Generally clean and tidy, but the day we arrived, dirty linen was left outside for about 7 hours, not the nicest of views when you’re on your holiday. Dirty linen should be immediately removed as accommodation is cleaned.
Overall, fantastic place, the biggest thumbs up went to the swimming pool.

Stayed on touring site euro pitch, excellent value. Only had to walk a few yards to the complex.
Very good food in the Mash+Barrel, especially earlybird 25pc off.
Really good help in siting of van and help getting awning on. Brilliant swimmingpool with warm water tempature. Nothing was too much trouble for friendly + helpful staff ,would definately come again.
Try Cambrian coastal run on Arriva train from Portmadog, just under £10 for a day ranger, very good.

    An amazing holiday.
Only thing that I hated was the fact that there is lots of fast food resturaunts where as I’m one of those people who prefer to sit down and have a proper meal. i felt almost as if I wasnt on holiday because there is fish and chip shops and burger king like there is at home.
But we were very sad to come home and we can’t wait to book again!!!!!

Booked Hafan Y Mor, first time with Haven Holidays – half board Easter weekend.
Check in 4pm, by the time we checked in an got to our chalet was 5pm….Restaurant meals from 5-6.30pm……bit of a treck to the main part from our chalet. By the time we had got there and eaten was now 6.15pm ….even though bright sunny day, pool closed 5.45pm , mini golf closed 6.00pm , go karts closed 6.00pm, kids show started at 5.00pm……great!!
Bingo in the main showbar and arcades … 🙁
Day 2….go to the beach only to find, rock climbing with a three year old not the best activity. Went to the splash centre which was fine, but then closes at dinner and reopens later in the afternoon.
Day 3….drove off site and went to rabbit farm down the road which is good and a trip to Harlech beach, great sand castles built, kids loved it.
The site was clean , the food was good, the chalet although basic was clean and tidy.
    The problems are basic….
Need more information of what is going on and what time…..
Things need to stay open a bit longer than they do. A lot of the activities start the same time as the food hall opens, so you either eat and miss most of it, or see some of the shows etc but then fail to eat ..
I would recommend going self catering….
Kids end up bored in the arcades because they have missed most things….

Stayed here with my husband and 2 children, had a great time.
Plenty to do but can be expensive, the pool had no slide but the splash zone outside made up for that.
Lovely decking outside where you can sit an eat or have a drink, good kids entertainment, tom and jerry show was fab.
We stayed in a 3 bed superiour caravan. Was clean, had a micrwave which we did’nt expect, which was good.
Lovely beech nearby, good chippy and spar just outside the park.
    We would stop here again.

    Absolutely loved this park!
The entertainment and the swimming pool are both brilliant! Really enjoyed racing down the three massive flumes, and the octopus slide. Miniature golf outside the swimming pool is also worth a visit, alot of fun and a really good course.
Shame that there were not more party dances though at the showbar, as the ones that we did do were great fun, and we loved them.
The sports centre is also a good place to go with the badminton, and the laser quest is also great fun.
The live bands were all great but we especially loved one called heroes!
The funstars are all really nice, and provide BRILLIANT entertainment! 🙂

We had rented out a self catering apartment , the whole apartment was dull and in deseprate need of refurbishment , the bed was not made , the mattress was 100 years old , electrical sockets were coming out , paint was peeling out . The overall quality was poor. I will not go again to Haven parks for the holiday.

    Chalet accomodation booked. october 09
where to check in was not made obvious, it wasnt in reception…took ages to find.so off to a bad start!
We took a 3wk old baby, only to find that once we were allocated our chalet keys there was a 3/4 mile walk from the car to the Challet! which wasnt mentioned anywhere that there wasnt parking near the accomodation. so as a single mum taking a 13yr old and a 3wk old baby away it was an absolute nightmare to get all of the things from then car to the challet then up 2 flights of stairs.
Once we had settled in, then decided to look around, the site was in pitch black darkness, no lights along the roadside to see where you were going, no signposts to give directions as to how to drive to the entrance/exit, as the park operates a 1 way system around it for cars.
Rooms clean with constant heating supplied and everything you need for a cheap selfcatering holiday, having stayed at thorpe park, reighton sands, golden sands, hafan y mor does come bottom of the list.
    Good points:
    staff helpful
caravans seemed better positioned, and better lit
plenty to do in arcade for mid range kids eg pool, air hockey, bowling, coin slots
    nice restaurant, good food.
good cheap base for touring north wales
    Recomendations:
go when the nights are still light
book a caravan not a chalet if you are the only adult in your group

    :

I had such a fab holiday at Hafan Y Mor I bought a 3 bedroom 8 berth static caravan on this park which I rent out. I was aware of Havens occasional negative reputation but since holidaying on this site we have never had anything but an excellent time and our children love it
It is a marvellous site. There is plenty to do for the kids and families but there are also some quiet spots for when you want to chill out. Its a lovely well cared for clean and tidy site.

    :

Brilliant campsite for those without a car as there is so much to do onsite. Also there is a handy bus service from the park,
We went half board which made things easier as then i didn’t need to cook.
