    :

Fantastic park near excellent golf course and 15mins walk to Tenby along the beach which is clean and beautiful.

Been coming to tenby for over 30 years and its not changed at all the people are friendly and the pubs and eating holes are fantastic.

Plenty for the kids as well the fantastic theme park Oakwood up the road but on the site itself plenty of activities to keep the young ones happy.

Have read negative comments about Kiln but i havent experienced anything bad at all on this site…like it so much my wife and self recently purchased a caravan of our own.Now we can enjoy this lovely place for years to come.

Kiln has recently had new managers installed and they are doing a superb job to turn the park around so ignore the old negative comments from years ago and give Kiln a try….but if you go camping in a tent in winter please dont blame the park if it rains.

Read so many negative comments about this its laughable.

    :

We stayed on Kiln Park from 15th to the 22nd April 2007.

As a pair of 50 somethings with a 20 year old son and his girlfriend and my brother and his family 30 somethings with 16/17 year old children.

We booked a touring Euro pitch with Electric/Water & waste facilities a nice wide pitch, My brother stayed on a non electric pitch which was ok and flat they used our electric facilities.

My brother and others on the non electric pitch did have some problems on a Saturday night with a party of teenage males who were partying until 0430hrs security was called 3 times but they did not eject to party people. As soon as security left they started again asking who had the “crack” frightening.

Although low season the toilet block could have been maintained better they were not dirty but there was some mould in places in the showers and one had to search the cubicles to find one with toilet roll. The entertainment was what can be expected in low season the shows were Ok nothing special apart from a band called “Beardsmith” who were excellent. The seasonal staff (Funstars and Bar staff)were very good, however, what I would term as regular staff were very abrupy and not to helpful. I would anticipate that in High season things may be a bit hectic. The supposed bowling green was more like a horses paddock. The tennis corts (two of them) were ok, however, when I went to book them I was told there was “no need if they were free just use them”, not very good if there are a few who want to use them at the same time.

Overall I will go again, the beer was reasonably priced, although the adult entertainment did not start until late not bad in off season when there was plenty of room, poor, from experiance in peak when one has to sit through a lot of childrens activities and shows, take a pack of playing cards!
